Kim Zolciak Will Appear Without A Wig On ‘Don’t Be Tardy for the Wedding’ [AUDIO]
“Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kim Zolciak called in to “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” on Thursday to chat about getting her wedding gown before she had a groom, planning her wedding, and about going on national television without one of her famous wigs.
Has Kim Ever Been On National Television Without A Wig?
“Never, but on ‘Don’t Be Tardy for the Wedding‘ you will get to see my real hair finally,” she says. “I’m not sure what episode it is, but it’s definitely coming up. I think people are going to be really surprised. I get a lot of Twitter fans that are like: ‘Has Kroy [Biermann] seen you without a wig?’ He’s seen me naked, of course he’s seen my without a wig.”
Besides Kroy, Has Kim Seen Other Atlanta Falcons Players Naked?
Kim recently married Atlanta Falcons defensive end Kroy Biermann. “No! I have not seen other Falcons players naked,” she says appalled. When asked if she’s at least thought about it, she replied: “Kroy is the cream of the crop, honey, so no.”
On Planning The Ultimate Wedding:
Kim admits she didn’t have a lot of time to plan her dream wedding. “I was really stuck on getting married on 11-11-11, I wanted that number 1 in there, it’s a lucky day. I didn’t get my ring until the summer, so by the time we decided on 11-11-11, I mean I had 8 weeks. Which was insane, I don’t know what I was thinking.”
Kim Found Her Wedding Gown Before Her Groom!
Kim actually picked out her wedding gown 3 years ago, before she even knew she was going to marry Kroy! “I was in LA going to do the ‘Ellen DeGeneres Show.’ I drove by Baracci in the car service and I told the driver: ‘Stop!’ and he’s like: ‘No, ma’am I can’t.’ And I said: ‘Oh, but you need to. That’s my gown.'” She tells us. “I was with my best friend Jen and I tried on a similar gown, they wouldn’t let me try on the one that I really wanted, I wanted to buy it and Jen said: ‘Kim, you don’t even have a groom. When are you going to wear this?’ I said: ‘I know, I know, but this is my dress.'”
Kim continues, “As soon as I got my ring, that was my first call. And Baracci said: ‘You know it takes over a year to make this dress.’ So, I was devastated. But they said: ‘Send us send us some pictures of what you like…we maybe have something in the store similar.’ When I googled images, up popped a website with this lady, who 2 hours before posted her wedding gown. Which was the exact same gown that was in the window 3 years before. So, I wore a used gown.”
“Don’t Be Tardy For The Wedding” airs Thursday nights at 9:30/8:30c on Bravo.
