Leonardo Dicaprio Brings The Glitz, Glam, & Booze In New ‘Great Gatsby’ Trailer [VIDEO]

Leonardo DiCaprio stars in the stunning, high-powered, sinful remake of “The Great Gatsby”. Based on F. Scott Fitzgerald’s 1925 classic novel, the film takes us behind the eyes of naïve Midwesterner Nick Carraway, played by Tobey Maguire, and into the glamorous wealth of New York City bachelor Jay Gatsby, played by DiCaprio. The object of desire for love-struck, stuck in the past Gatsby is Daisy Buchanan, played by sincere sweetie Carey Mulligan.

Hitting theatres this Christmas, director Baz Luhrmann promises an intensified world of 1920’s with flimsy flapper dresses, sensual suits, confetti poppers, and a lot of booze.

Luhrmann isn’t daunted to hyper-sexualize the scenery of the ‘20s and bring newcomers into the highly anticipated remake. Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan, playing Meyer Wolfsheim, and newcomer Elizabeth Debicki, as Jordan Baker, join the A-list cast.
