Winners of Ryan Seacrest’s “Bieber-Off contest and viral sensation super girl group Cimorelli has hit over 200 million views on YouTube and they aren’t slowing down.

But these singers didn’t just wake up with killer pipes. The talent comes from mom Lynne, a composer, pianist, and former choir director, who trained her young daughters piano, harmonizing, and vocal jazz.

In 2007, the eldest five daughters launched Cimorelli with a goal to enhance their songwriting and vocal skills. Fans of YouTube themselves, the girls noticed the popularity that surrounded people performing music covers of radio hits.

Social media is the key to success and these sisters used coverage of the August 2009 Teen Choice Awards to their advantage. They posted an a cappella cover of Miley Cyrus live performance of “Party in the USA” on YouTube the same night.

Attracting attention, this girl group, with the addition of cutie pie Dani (11), became an internet sensation, covering artists such as Katy Perry, Taio Cruz, Maroon 5, Kelly Clarkson, Chris Brown, and Adele.

Music video covers have become more choreographed and technically advanced with programs like Garage Pro and Logic Pro — used to record, mix, edit vocals–but the sisters promise that their signature self-made harmonies will never fade away.

The most recent videos show the real personalities of the group. The girls hit the beach for the cover of One Direction’s “What Makes You Beautiful,” which has gained over 12.5 million views and sassy dance moved with 80’s outfits complete the Carly Rae Jepsen “Call Me Maybe”cover with 12 million views.

They signed with Universal Records in April 2010 but with a newfound fan base, and Internet exposure, they are currently recording a debut album.

Through YouTube videos that provide viewers insight into the unguarded family dynamic, it seems that viral fans have become an extension of this big family. On Mama Cimorelli’s birthday, she was #3 trending on Twitter. #HappyBirthdayMomCimorelli
