Ashley Tisdale Dishes About Her New Show ‘Miss Advised’ [AUDIO]
Ashley Tisdale called in to “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” on Monday to chat about the new show that she is producing called “Miss Advised,” her upcoming projects and how she helped draw attention the the Carly Rae Jepsen hit “Call Me Maybe.”
On ‘Miss Advised':
“I’ve had my own company, Blondie Girl Productions for about 5 years. But this is our first show going on air, so it’s pretty exciting,” Ashley tells us. “Miss Advised” is a dating advice show, but the experts giving the advice are all single, so what qualifies them to give advice? “One of them is a dating columnist, Julia Allison, one is a matchmaking maven, Amy Laurent, and the other one, Emily Morse is a radio host and sex expert. So they do all through different things. You start to see it unfold that they really aren’t taking their own advice. So, they’re dishing it out, but just not taking it. It’s a good time, it’s a fun show.”
On ‘Call Me Maybe':
Ashley with Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, and the guys from Big Time Rush helped draw some attention to the Carly Rae Jepsen hit when they posted their own lip-dub video for the song. Their video has gotten more that 42 million YouTube views. “It’s crazy, it’s such a good song, it’s so good…it just puts you in a good mood,” Ashley tells us.
On The Top Knot Hairstyle:
Ashley sported the top knot look at the Annual Chrysalis Butterfly Ball. “I just threw it [her hair] up one night,” she says. “Actually, I think Julianne [Hough] started it at the ‘Rock of Ages‘ premiere.”
On Upcoming Projects:
“Right now I’m in the middle of doing an arc on ‘Sons of Anacrchy‘ and then I’m going to be doing the lead in ‘Scary Movie 5.’ So, it’s kind of a busy summer, super excited,” Ashley says.
“Miss Advised” airs Monday nights on Bravo at 10/9c.
