Harvey Levin Drops Details About Shooting Suspect James Holmes [AUDIO]
Today the “The Dark Knight” shooting suspect James Holmes made his first court appearance in Colorado. There’s still a lot we don’t know about this former Ph.D. student, but TMZ‘s Harvey Levin called in to “On Air With Ryan Seacrest” Monday morning to fill us in.
“It really does feel like this guy lost a sense of reality and became a villain in a movie,” said Harvey of Holmes. “All outward indications from everybody else who knew him say that they never saw this kind of bizarre conduct in his personality and again, a loner to some extent, but he did have some friends.”
“Yesterday we posted on the website that he was a camp counselor and we contacted that camp and they said, ‘Look, you know we’re not going to lie, he was great here’ and he even kind of saw himself as a role model.”

Still, there were existing signs that gave way to Holmes’ dark side. “What’s interesting is that this was a very methodically, pre-meditated plan that spanned over a period of months,” said Harvey.
“There’s a sex website that he had joined and we actually gave this to authorities and they just jumped on it,” said Harvey, “because he had said on this sex website, in his profile—he was looking for a woman—‘Would you visit me in prison?’”
