Kristen Issues Public Apology — How Will Rob Respond?
The “Twilight” real-life couple Robert Pattinson (26) and Kristen Stewart (22) cuddled backstage at the 2012 Teen Choice Awards on Sunday. Unknown to Twifans, that might have been the last time “together-forever” fairytale vampire couple of almost 4 years will be seen in each others arms.
When US Weekly’s cover photo allegedly showed Kristen’s rendezvous with “Snow White and the Huntsman” director Rupert Sanders (41), the rumor mill started spinning. Tumblr fans insisted that the photos of intimate embraces, in and out of the house infidelity, and car makeout sessions were photoshopped. No reps of the love triangle would comment.
Rupert’s model wife Liberty Ross had previously followed US Weekly on Twitter and reportedly her last tweet stated: “Wow.” Currently, she has yet to comment on what will happen with the custody of their two children, ages 5 and 7.
Today, Kristen issued an apology to People, breaking the heart of beau Robert: “I’m deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I’ve caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected. This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I’m so sorry.”
Will Rob-Patz forgive her? And what will happen if “Snow White” has a sequel? Things could get awkward on set if Rupert directs his mistress again.
