One Direction Announce Television Special About Their ‘First Time’ [VIDEO]
It’s been a year of firsts for One Direction.
The boy band released their debut album, Up All Night, in the United States in March, performed at the Olympics in August, and now they are set to perform for the first time at the “MTV Video Music Awards” in September. In honor of their virgin performance, the boys have filmed a MTV special called, “One Direction: My First Time.”
According to MTV, the special will air on Thursday, August 30th at 11 p.m. and will be hosted by Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Harry Styles, Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson. The special will follow the group as they prepare for the VMAs and they will also count down the most memorable performances of all time.
Also recently released is news from the Hollywood Reporter that One Direction’s second album will be out in November, and their new single, “Live While We’re Young” will be available for download on iTunes on October 1st.
