On His New Talk Show:
“It’s been on a week now and that means of course lots of notes from network executives telling you everything that’s wrong with your show and all the changes you should make 5 shows in…no, it’s actually been really supportive, I’ve been surprised. It’s been a ton of fun and a lot of work to launch a show. We’re having a great time doing the show. It’s been fun and a lot of work, but definitely an enjoyable experience.”

The ‘Guys On The Couch’ Segment:
“We just bring two guys up from the audience and answer questions from women in the audience…basically about why men think the way they do. It’s just trying to get inside a guys head and most of the questions are about relationships, then usually they end up being about sex. It’s amazing to me how many times the questions are really about the same thing, even though they’re phrased differently,” he explains.

Jeff thinks, “Guys want to fix things and they want to make their women happy and usually that’s by saying what’s the best answer for my woman to say ‘aw thanks, baby.’ And then for this thing to go away, so we can get to the next thing. And usually the next thing ends up somehow leading to sex.”

What’s On The Show Today?
“We have a really cool show about what happened in my life…3 pretty amazing and broad stories about people lives, who basically changed in an instant. We also do this thing called ‘Ambush Adventure, ‘ where we ambush somebody at the end of the show. We take somebody from the audience and we challenge them to an ‘adventure,’ but it is something that they need in their life. It usually puts them very much on the spot to do it right now and the results have been really interesting. It’s definitely one of those reality moments, you don’t know what’s going to happen.”

“The Jeff Probst Show” airs weekdays at 2pm on NBC in the LA area, check your local listings for times.
