Pop sensation Christina Aguilera and eccentric singer Cee-Lo Green have decided to take a break from coaching on NBC’s “The Voice” this spring.

Both artists would like to focus on their careers, which leaves two of the red seats open for the taking! R&B hottie Usher and the sexy Shakira will be taking over during the spring season as the permanent coach’s take a time out for their fans.

Cee Lo Green Stops By ‘The Voice’

No need to worry fans! The coaches are expected to return to “The Voice” next fall. “Whether in the red chair or on tour, our coaches have their chairs for life,” says executive producer Mark Burnett. “This is exactly why, after three seasons, we needed to allow them to rotate out so they can get on the road amongst their fans.”

Christina will spend her time away promoting her latest album, Lotuswhich is set to release November 13. Cee Lo is preparing to record a Christmas album, Cee Lo’s Magic Moment. “I will return for season five and will be watching season four,” says the “Forget You” singer. “NBC is home and as far as Usher and Shakira are concerned – ‘mi casa su casa’.”
