Must-See Emmy Moments: A Late Night Host Fight, 1D & Josh Groban [PHOTOS]
From sore losers, to stage crashers, to boy bands, there was something for everyone at this year’s show. Here is a look at five must-see moments everyone will be talking about.
5. Newly Single Amy Poehler Shows Off Her Hot Body
We were more than devastated to find out “Parks and Recreation” star Amy Poehler and her husband, “Up All Night” actor Will Arnett, split after nine years of marriage. When it came to Emmy night, however, Amy looked sexy in her black, low-cut dress. Gentlemen—Amy is funnier than ever… and single.
4. Tracy Morgan Passes Out Onstage
In a funny attempt to get more viewers watching midway through the show, host Jimmy Kimmel asked the audience and viewers at home to tweet an important message. The note read:
Oh my God – Tracy Morgan just passed out onstage at the Emmys – turn ABC on NOW!”

According to TwitterTV, more than 25,000 Tweets were sent out in a moments notice. Never fear, “30 Rock” star Tracy Morgan was in on the act and is resting comfortably tonight.
3. Stephen Colbert & Jimmy Fallon Aren’t Happy With One Winner
When “Daily Show” host Jon Stewart won for Outstanding Writing for a Variety, Music, or Comedy Program at Sunday’s show, not every loser was a good sport. When Jon began walking onstage, Jimmy Fallon and Stephen Colbert got out of their seats and tackled him to the ground. Don’t worry, it’s just a couple of funny guys horsing around.
2. Julia Louis-Dreyfus Gets Interrupted By Amy Poehler
When Julia Louis-Dreyfus accepted her award for Best Actress in a Comedy Series for “Veep,” we weren’t sure what to expect when she pulled out her thank you list. Her speech, however, might have been the best of the night when fellow nominee Amy Poehler ran up to switch speeches. Julia read her message that said, “Isn’t it a shame Amy Poehler didn’t win.” Julia later admitted backstage she thought of the idea Saturday while driving in the car. Well done funny ladies!
1. Josh Groban Sings One Direction’s “What Makes You Beautiful”
Every award show appropriately celebrates the lives of those who have passed away in the past year. Jimmy Kimmel, however, added his own twist by celebrating the life of the living…or himself. As a video tribute aired in the background filled with funny Jimmy clips, Josh Groban began singing One Direction’s “What Makes You Beautiful.” If only Harry, Niall, and the gang appeared onstage too. Maybe next time.
