Adam told Whitney, “The way you handled yourself is unbelievable you sound so strong and you really turned this thing around, and you showed them that the jokes on them and that’s perfect.  You just have to kind of pick up the pieces and say, well, I know who I am, and I know what I’m about and I’m not going to let it slow me down. You sound like you really learned a lot, and you taugh a lot of other people a lesson. You should be proud of yourself.” Adam’s advice comes from his own personal struggle with bullying. “Getting to hear about someone who’s gotten some sort of strength from my story and my music, that’s what it’s all about. That makes it worth while. I got my struggles too!” Whitney told Adam that this situation has definitely “made her feel stronger.”
