Felix Baumgartner Breaks The Speed Of Sound In Record Breaking Jump! [VIDEO]
You can’t hear me?! Oh, it must be because I just broke the sound barrier!
With the help of RedBull, Austrian skydiving expert Felix Baumgartner climbed to 128,100 feet in a helium balloon craft. He then free fell to the Earth‘s surface, dropping faster than the speed of sound! The balloon took him all the way to our planet’s stratosphere, he opened the hatch, jumped out, and fell to Earth for four minutes and 20 seconds, reaching a maximum speed of 833 mph.
This amazing feat broke two world records! It is the highest freefall ever attempted and it is the highest manned balloon flight.
