Tori Kelly Shows Off Her ‘Handmade Songs’ Live At The Roxy!

Whether you recognize her from “American Idol” Season 9 auditions or YouTube, it’s hard to deny that up-and-comer Tori Kelly is anything short of the next big singing sensation.

On October 24, Tori performed at The Roxy, and even sold out the famous Los Angeles venue.  After a casual acoustic opener, Tori began her full band set with one of her most popular upbeat original songs called “Confetti.”

Her set included more original songs such as “Eyelashes,” “All In My Head,” and “Upside Down.” She also mixed in a few covers, including Michael Jackson‘s “PYT (Pretty Young Thing).” And you better believe the crowd was singing along! Justin Bieber‘s manager Scooter Braun came out to support Tori for her big L.A. show, and “Leave (Get Out)” singer JoJo was spotted in the crowd as well as Dancing With The Stars Champion Mark Ballas.

A few more famous faces  even turned out for her concert including fellow YouTube stars Travis Garlandwho opened the night up for her, Ryan Beattyand Angie Girl who performed a beatbox rendition of Frank Ocean‘s “Thinking Of You with Tori.

In an emotional moment of her concert, she performed a song for the first time ever called “Worth It.” She described writing this song during a point in her life where she “was getting a lot of no’s, in her music and life in general.” She told the audience that this song was “her own inspirational anthem.” Here is a highlight from the live stream, when Tori sang the inspirational number.

Tori has become well known through her YouTube channel, which has over 200,000 subscribers and over 22 million video views. She releases both covers of popular hit songs, while also writing music of her own. Tori released her first EP Handmade Songs in May of this year, and has created even more of a following for herself ever since.
