There is no act in music more closely related with New Jersey than Bon Jovi. So when Hurricane Sandy ravaged its shoreline, the band was deeply affected. But was guitar player Richie Sambora‘s family personally impacted at all?

“Actually, my mother’s house was pretty decimated. She lives on a river in Point Pleasant, New Jersey, right where that hurricane had hit the coast. We had a couple feet of water in the living room and in the bottom floor of the whole house. So, mom will be living out with me here in California for a little while,” Richie tells us.
