I’m dreaming of a white Pentatonix Christmas.

Pentatonix Gets Fans Into The Halloween Spirit!

‘Tis the season of twinkling lights, pine trees, extreme shopping, and Christmas albums by our favorite artists! This year the list of artists that are releasing sounds of the season include super group Pentatonix, who are paving a way in the mainstream for a cappella music. The group won the third season of NBC’s “The Sing-Off” and released an EP, PTX Vol. 1, earlier this year.

Pentatonix Goes Gangnam!

Penatonix will release their debut Christmas album called PTXmas on Tuesday, November 13, and RyanSeacrest.com has an exclusive preview track off of the album that will feature six classic Christmas tunes. Click below to get an exclusive listen to “Angels We Have Heard On High” and keep reading for some of the groups’ favorite Christmas memories!

Brilliant beatboxer Kevin Olusola says, “My favorite Christmas memory was when I went on a cruise to the Caribbean with my family during my senior year of high school. It was so amazing to be at sea with family enjoying warm weather, and cruises are just ridiculously fun in general!”

The soulful singer with runs like Beyoncé Scott Hoying says, “My favorite Christmas memory was waking up to an Nintendo 64 under the tree; I was the nerdiest of video game nerds as a child and the N64 was the biggest thing in video games at the time. I honestly didn’t think I’d get one because they were sold out everywhere, but Santa was on top of his game that year! I screamed and ran around the house like a maniac!”

The amazingly gifted Mitch Grassi says, “One of my favorite Christmas memories is playing the Billy Gilman Christmas CD on repeat! This was a long time ago when he was still really young. My family would play it every day in the car, in the house, etc., from late October until Christmas.”

Kirstie Maldonado, the beautiful and talented girl in this super group, says, “When I was little my mom and I lived in an apartment and there was one year when we wanted to buy a fresh tree for Christmas and put it up together. It was a happy moment because it was a struggle but my Mom and I have always prided ourselves in being able to be happy and do things with just us. My mom’s always tried to make every Christmas special for me. Also we always made a ‘Happy Birthday Jesus’ cake!”

The baddest bass around Avi Kaplan says, “My Favorite Christmas memory is sitting by the fire, listening to the Blind Boys of Alabama Christmas cd with my whole family just talking and laughing. There’s nothing better than being with your family during the holidays.

Tickets are now available for Pentatonix’s second tour in North America which will begin on January 24, 2013, in Los Angeles and the tour will continue until March of 2013. Check out the groups website here for tour information!
