Dr. Phil called in to “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” to talk about his new book “Life Code: The New Rules for Winning in the Real World.” Also, Thanksgiving is just around the corner…so, how will the McGraw’s be spending the holiday?

On Thanksgiving At The McGraw Residence:
“Fortunately, we all are able to get around the table. We’ve got 2 grandkids now, Avery & London. So, we get to have them here and a turkey leg for each of them. We just have a great time,” Dr. Phil shares. “We have it here at the house. It’s a lot of fun having everybody together.”

“Lifecode: The New Rules For Winning In The Real World”
“I was really frustrated at myself because I didn’t write this book a long time ago. I should have, because we are not living in the world our mama told us about. Things just change…when the rules change you got to throw out the book and get a new rule book and that’s what I’ve done. I’m very honest in this book about things that have happened in my life…I talk about not how you wish the world were, not how the world should work, but how the world really works. Because if you want to succeed you got to know how this thing really works.”

What You Need To Do To Be Successful:
“You’ve got to decide what you’re image is in this world. You got to decide who you are and what you project. Then you’ve got to commit to it and you’ve got to be consistent with it. If you don’t know what that is then you’re kind of generic. And generic just doesn’t work in this day and time. You’ve got to be unique. You’ve got to become essential in everything that you do. You’ve got to learn how to play big and you’ve got to learn how to play big now. It’s a completely different strategy than what we used to have and that’s what I talk about in the book.”

“Life Code: The New Rules for Winning in the Real World” is available now on www.thebooknook.com and will be available everywhere February 5th.
