50 Cent Talks Collaboration with Eminem & Adam Levine on ‘My Life’

50 Cent called in to “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” to talk about collaborating with Eminem and Adam Levine on “My Life” and tells us about his upcoming tour.

On My Life:
“The lyrics and the song I actually wrote it almost two years ago. I wanted the actual record to feel like vintage hip hop,” 50 tells us. The track premiered and 12 hours later it was #1 on iTunes. How did the trifecta of 50 Cent, Eminem and Adam Levine come together? “Adam was easier to get on the track than anyone. I had to fly to Detroit to get Em to do the record.” 50 also said that he worked with Eminem on a few other songs that may be on the album.

50 Cent is Going on Tour!
50 Cent will be going on tour with a live band some time after February. “I will release the actual album in February, so I’ll wait for people to get a chance to live with the record before I go out. I’ve been planning the actual tour, so I put my own band together,” he explains. Listen to the full interview below.
