Paula Deen is the queen of the kitchen, and now Ryan is asking her for some advice in and out of the kitchen! She called into On Air with Ryan Seacrest to talk about some of her own Christmas memories, how she feels about Turducken, and as Ellen K. put it best “WWPDD: What Would Paula Deen do?”

Should Ryan Get An Artificial Tree For Christmas?
“Don’t get an artificial tree! Buy your tree. Cut off about three or four inches, then sit it in a bucket of water for a few days before you dress it, and just let it drink water for three days, and it’ll last a lot longer.”

Advice On Making The Infamous Turducken:
“It’s one of those things, it’s just a lot of work. You’d definitely have to work with your butcher. Because de-boning all those birds, I don’t any other way to say it but,  a bi***. I definitely think it’s worth it, but you gotta count on your butcher. It would take me days to de-bone the chicken and the duck. I did one one time with a stuffing, but I’d prefer it without a stuffing. Merry Christmas to ya’ll!”
