Charlie Beck Details New Police Patrols of Los Angeles Schools

Los Angeles Police Chief Charlie Beck called in to “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” Monday morning to discuss the LAPD’s recent commitment to provide additional ‘stop bys’ of Los Angeles schools in an effort to keep children safe.

“In the past our patrols of elementary and middle school has been very limited. Having routine ‘stop bys’ isn’t something we did a lot, but that’s going to change. When school comes back in again from winter break all of our elementary schools are going to be visited by a Los Angeles police officer at least once a day,” says Chief Beck.
