Fun. Reveals Working With Ke$ha & Pink Was ‘Nerve-Racking’

fun.’s Nate Ruess is teaming up with Brita and REVERB for some good, clean fun.

The fun. frontman is helping launch a new initiative called the FilterForGood Bottle Free Bands Contest—a competition in which up-and-coming, environmentally conscious bands can win a comprehensive “Go Green” tour complete with carbon off-sets, biofuel, reusable water bottles, and more. Now through February 15, musicians can visit to enter.

Aside from going green, Nate’s been busy with his own music career’s success, which led him to team up with pop stars like Ke$ha and Pink.

So, we had to wonder, was the singer at first intimidated to work with the superstars?

Nate revealed to Ryan in an interview with “On Air with Ryan Seacrest:” “At first it was a little nerve-racking, I always wondered whether these people would think I was a massive weirdo, which I kind of am. But it was probably around the time I’d written the song with Pink that I was able to let loose and feel like ‘okay, I can hang with these people.'”

Nate also shared the music video for his collab with Pink “Just Give Me a Reason” has been shot and he can’t wait for his fans to get their eyes on it!
