It’s gettin’ hot in here! Adam Levine had the crowd fanning themselves as he took his shirt off in his opening monologue on “Saturday Night Live”, Saturday, January 26th.

The Maroon 5 front man went without his band, and brought the funny in his first stint as host of the late night show. He played a number of roles including Nev from the MTV show “Catfish,” a young “Sopranos” character, and even himself. He was also featured on the comeback of The Lonely Island’s ‘Digital Shorts’ in “YOLO“.

Adam ‘Calls BS’ on Valentine’s Day

The episode also featured guests, Cameron Diaz, Jerry Seinfeld, and Andy Samberg who helped Adam to decide whether or not to loose his shirt. In between sets, West Coast rapper Kendrick Lamar performed his songs, “Swimming Pools (Drank)” and “Poetic Justice.”
