TMZ’s Harvey Levin Talks Oscar Pistorius Case
TMZ’s Harvey Levin phoned in to “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” to give us the latest on double amputee Olympic sprinter Oscar Pistorius, who is currently in custody after formally being charged with one count of murder after allegedly shooting and killing his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp.
When asked if he thinks Oscar’s defense in that he thought it was an intruder will hold up, Harvey shared: “Well you know you never know, it all comes down to witnesses and what the jury hears and anybody who tells you that he’s going to get convicted or he’s not going to get convicted is a fool. There is no way of knowing.”

Harvey furthered, by raising the question: “But I will say this, the thing that doesn’t make sense about his story, it’s almost like playing Family Feud, that when the bathroom door is locked and you believe someone is in the bathroom and you’re sleeping with somebody what’s the first thing you’d expect?”
Answering his own question, Harvey continued: “When people get out of bed in the middle of the night you typically go to the bathroom and if he knows someone is in the bathroom you look over to see if that person is in the bathroom but his story doesnt have anything to do with that. His story is he must have heard something in the bathroom, he panicked, didn’t have his legs on and then shot out of fear and then turned and looked and realized his girlfriend wasn’t in bed. Seems to be the reverse way most people would do it and doesn’t make a lot of sense.”
