Vampire Weekend has come out of the dark with new, sparkly, tunes!

The band is getting ready to release their junior album, “Modern Vampires of the City,” on May 7th. Without making fans wait until then, they’ve released an official stream of “Diane Young,” as seen above, and a lyric video for “Step,” below, from the album. If you like what you hear you can pre order the album on iTunes now. They’ll also be going on tour this spring, so look out for tickets to that.

The band’s first album, the self -entitled, “Vampire Weekend,” was released in 2008. Since then their songs have been featured in movies like “Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist,” “I Love You, Man,” and, ironically, “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.” We think the new songs have their signature sound, that we love, but let us know what you think below!
