Andy Cohen Talks Being Stuck on An Island with ‘Real Housewives’

Bravo’s main man Andy Cohen stopped by “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” to talk everything from the Housewives to his personal experience being up close and personal with the “bravolebrities.”

As for the drama that are the Real Housewives, Andy shared: “You can’t script this stuff. It’s all in the casting, that’s why it’s real. I tell people, what’s not real is when they go to lunch or dinner or whatever we have to clear the location, we encourage them to get together…we talk to them before we start shooting about what’s going on in their lives…the artifice of it is trying to figure out how to schedule all this stuff, but the reality is everything that happens when the cameras start rolling.”

Since each housewife has her own signature intro, we had to ask, what’s Andy’s?!

Andy shared he has two: “I may be a man, but I fight like a girl” and “I’m not an English major, but I know how to read.”

As for Ryan’s? “Some say I’m short, but I say I’m the perfect height to keep it under the radar.”

We also couldn’t resist putting Andy up to the test that is Truth Pong. When it came to answering whether Vicki Gunvalson‘s plastic surgery was good or bad, Andy laughed: “A decent tune up.”

As for if he were stuck on an island for a year with one housewife, who would he enjoy most? Andy answered: “Is Bethenny Frankel still a housewife? No, she’s not. You know what, Carole Radziwill, I’ve known her for years.”
