Lady Gaga Voted Second Most Influential Icon of Last Decade
Lady Gaga’s debut album came out five years ago, but she is considered one of the most influential people in the past decade.
In a new poll conducted by TIME Magazine, the singer was voted second “Most Influential Icon” of the last 10 years. Lady Gaga seemed to be the front runner — she had beat out President Barack Obama, George Clooney, and Tina Fey — until she lost in the finals to Aung San Suu Kyi, a politician in Burma.
It’s no surprise that Lady Gaga took the second place spot considering her huge fan base, or as she likes to call them, as her “Little Monsters.” Gaga is getting ready to release her next album, ARTPOP, which has fans on the edge of their seats anxiously waiting.
