Jesse McCartney: Next Album Will Be ‘Sort of a Slice of Life’

Jesse McCartney‘s been busy playing Private Tim Truman, a new soldier eager to make his mark on Lifetime’s Army Wives, but that doesn’t mean the singer has put music on the back burner altogether.

In fact, Jesse revealed to On Air with Ryan Seacrest that he’s currently working on new music!

The 26-year-old singer/actor shared he’s working on his fourth studio album … and hoping to release the first single either this summer or fall.

So what’s influenced his music this time around? “Just real life,” says Jesse. “I’ve definitely experienced some things regarding relationships that I never really experienced before, so for the most part, I kind of wanted to make it a record that was sort of a slice of life.”
