Just in time for the weekend, here is a great song to get the party started.

U.K. singer Katy Tiz has dropped her new single, “Red Cup,” in honor, of course, of the typical vessel for drinks at parties.

The reggae-esque track was produced by Lady Gaga‘s go-to guy, Red One, so no wonder it’s catchy and danceable.

And its lyrics celebrate the spirit of letting your hair down. In the chorus, Katy sings: ”One shot if you’re friends are fake / two shots for the bad mistakes / three shots let’s celebrate.”

“‘Red Cup’ was the first song I recorded in my first day of sessions with RedOne,” Katy has said. “I wanted to do a club song that has a message. So we decided on ‘Red Cup’ … The song captures the idea of, ‘Come on, everyone. Bring me your problems, whatever is going on in your life, let’s get drunk and celebrate the bad.’ That’s how the song came about. I fell in love with that idea. See, it’s a party song, but it’s my party song.”

If you want to party along to “Red Cup,” you can buy it on iTunes.
