For the last time, Candice Glover and Kree Harrison performed on American Idol on Wednesday night.

Each lady sang three songs, beginning with picks from Idol producer Simon Fuller: Sarah McLachlan‘s “Angel” for Kree and Adeles “Chasing Pavement” for Candice.

Afterward, Mariah Carey gushed, “I’m so proud to have been a part of this season. This talent is so magnificent … it’s really refreshing.”

But Randy Jackson didn’t feel the same about Round 1 and said he thought both song choices were “sleepy.”

Before Round 2, former Canadian Idol contestant Carly Rae Jepsen performed “I Take a Picture,” from her Perfect Harmony collaboration with Coca-Cola.

Then, Kree and Candice returned to the stage, this time to perform the singles they’ll release should they win.

While Keith Urban picked Kree as the winner of Round 2, Nicki Minaj jumped in to say it was Candice.

For their final song, both contestants chose their favorite performance from the season. Kree went with “Up to the Mountain,” which earned rave reviews from all the judges, while Candice chose “I Who Have Nothing.” Much like Kree, Candice wowed the judges panel with her partly A Capella rendition.

Who did you think did a better job … Kree or Candice?

Tune in to FOX on Thursday at 8/7c to see who will become the next American Idol.
