Face Yoga: 18 Moves That Could Make You Look 5 Years Younger
Yoga isn’t just for your body anymore.
Followers of the practice certainly look a little funny pulling off the 18 different “poses,” but they claim it really does help. How? The moves theoretically tighten the facial muscles and even encourages the production of collagen, which helps keep skin looking youthful.
The U.K.’s biggest face yoga “super trainer,” Julia Anastasiou, advises that 20 minutes, six days a week is all it takes to knock off five years from your face.
Amongst the moves: Owl, where you make two “C” shapes with your fingers around your eyes and then open the eyes wide and relax the forehead three times for 10 seconds each, and Puffer Fish, which involves puffing out your cheeks and gently tapping on them for 30 seconds.
