The 1997 hit took on a new sound as the Hanson boys performed the song with the PS22 children’s choir from Staten Island, New York. The youngsters sang a medley of ’90s songs, which concluded with “MMMBop” and prompted the band to take the stage. The video above is from before the show when Hanson surprised Ps22 with an impromptu performance backstage.

The duet was part of the “Do Something” 20th year celebration. The non-profit organization’s goal is to motivate young people to engage in social change through group projects.

This is not the first time the choir has performed with big time musicians. The young singers have belted tunes with Carrie Underwood, Phillip Phillips, Katy Perry, and many more.
