Daft Punk‘s new song with Pharrell Williams, “Get Lucky,” sounds like a blast from the past, but in a new remix, it goes even further back.

French singer and musician PV Nova has re-imagined the track as if it was released every decade, beginning with 1920 all the way until 2020.

The 1950s inspires a doo-wop sound, the ’70s of course is disco-esque, while the ’80s gives us more of a new wave feeling.

As for the 2010 rendition, it’s very dubstep a la Skrillex. But what about 2020? The sound is so futuristic, we don’t even know how to describe it yet. (Maybe ask us in another seven years.)
