‘Anchorman 2′ Trailer: Ron Burgundy Reads the News in ’80s

Nearly a decade after Ron Burgundy had us cracking up at his shenanigans in Anchorman, he and his team are back for the sequel, Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues.

And this time, it’s the ’80s and news delivery is turning into 24 hour-a-day programming.

In a new trailer, when Ron (Will Ferrell) meets with someone from one of the new channels about a job, he asserts, “I’m going to do the thing that God put Ron Burgundy on this earth to do: Have salon-quality hair and read the news.”

Just one problem: a dashing rival anchorman, played  by James Marsden, threatens his new gig.

Anchorman 2, which also stars Christina Applegate, Paul Rudd, Steve Carell, and Kristen Wiig, is set to hit theaters on December 20.
