While it is only Wednesday, a pre-throwback Thursday post is in order, especially since Candace Cameron Bure shared such an important message to go along with her adorable old-school photo.

Candace, who played oldest sister D.J. Tanner on Full House, continues to teach us valuable life lessons long after the hit series ended. The 37-year-old actress posted the above photo on Instagram with the caption, “Young Hollywood 1990’s. No stylist or high heels. Instead: baggie clothes, pimples & healthy weight.”

“What a concept 2 show our teens today! @andreabarber @jaleelwhite,” she added.

Andrea Barber, who played D.J.’s BFF Kimmy Gibbler, Jeremy Miller from Growing Pains, and Jaleel White, also known as Steve Urkel on Family Matters, is seen posing with Candace from left to right.

It’s definitely a photo that captures true pre-teen innocence and reminds us how much we really miss our favorite ’90s TV shows!
