Miley Cyrus was serious when she said she won’t stop!

After she premiered her “We Can’t Stop” music video on VEVO on Wednesday, the global pop star recieved 10.7 million views in 24 hours, beating out Justin Bieber‘s previous record of 10.6 million views with his video for “Beauty and the Beat” featuring Nicki Minaj.

This doesn’t come as much suprise to fans, who had all been anxiously awaiting to see what the new-and-improved Miley had up her sleeve for the music video.

Her new sound is the result of help from producers Mike Will Made It, Pharrell,, Dr. Luke, and Future, who are all working on her upcoming album, which is set to be released this year.

Miss Cyrus will be performing her new single for the first time on June 25 on Jimmy Kimmel Live for an outdoor concert event.

But the question still remains, could the millions of views for “We Can’t Stop” be because of her wild antics like twerking, slicing off fingers, or dancing with giant stuffed teddy bears?

More importantly, what does the Biebs have to say about this?!
