Selena Gomez Scores First No. 1 Song With ‘Come & Get It’


Fans of Selena Gomez were listening when she sang “Come & Get It.”

The singer-actress’s first single from her upcoming Stars Dance album hit No. 1 on Top 40 radio on Monday, making it the first time she’s reached the milestone in her young career.

“I cannot thank you guys enough,” Selena said as she tried to hold back tears. “I want to thank every radio station, my label, and the most important of all is my fans for loving the song, for requesting it. It means so much to me … I love you all!”

“Come & Get It” also went to the top spot on Billboard’s Dance Chart, making it the fifth time for Selena.

The singer will next perform her mega-hit single for Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular on NBC.
