‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ Recap: Grecian Getaway

On this week’s episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, the Kardashian-Jenner clan takes over Greece!

After Kim‘s divorce settlement and Kourtney‘s surprise birthday dinner, the family decides to unwind from their busy schedules for a week-long vacation to the breathtaking island of Mykonos, Greece. However, tensions begin to rise between Kris and Bruce‘s son Brody.

But before the trip, Kim continues to live out her biggest fear: being married to Kris Humphries when her baby is born. Rest assured though, fans! After almost two years since she first filed for divorce, Kim is officially no longer a married woman.

Although she is ecstatic about finally being divorced, Kim reveals to her mom and Khloe that she wants a one-on-one Skype conversation with her ex.

“It really bothers me that he really feels in his heart that I didn’t love him,” she says. “There are things that I would own up to, and say, ‘You know, I’m sorry I hurt you. I’m sorry if you felt like we should’ve communicated better in our filing for divorce. I wish I did that differently. I really do, and I want to apologize for that.'”

She announces the good news to her family and friends while they wait to surprise Kourtney for her birthday. Brody, Bruce, and Lamar take a few shots while waiting for the birthday girl to arrive, and Kris and Khloe call Scott “rude,” since his only job is to get her there on time, yet he couldn’t do that.

Once Scott gets Kourtney out the door and into the restaurant, she’s surprised and genuinely happy to be surrounded by the people she loves. “No one has ever given me a surprise party that I haven’t found out about!”

If that isn’t enough excitement for one episode, the family makes their way over to paradise! The whole Kardashian and Jenner gang are on the trip (except poor Lammy who’s in basketball season), including Brody, Brandon, and Leah. Scott, on the other hand, will fly from London to meet the family in Greece a few days later.

Everyone is disappointed that Rob cancels at the last minute. His excuse is that his sock line’s booming, and he wants to continue working. But it’s really his insecurity issues that stop him from vacationing with his family. “It’s just frustrating to me that like I’m not happy going out if I’m not in good shape,” he says to Lamar.

Rob also manages to get Brody upset, since Rob was the one who invited Brody on the trip. Being that they were going to be the only two single guys on the trip, they were supposed to be each other’s wingman. “I think that your word is your everything, and Rob definitely gave his word, and he’s not here,” Brody says.

And Rob’s not the only person Brody has problems with. Throughout this Sunday’s episode, we see tensions flare up between Brody and Kris. Brody gets offended when Kris doesn’t personally invite him on the trip when she’s the one who invited everyone else. Furthermore, Brody believes Bruce and Kris’ relationship is on the fence.

“Even though I’ve had my own issues with my father growing up, it’s definitely tough for me to hear that he’s not appreciated as much as I think he should be, and he deserves to be respected,” he says.

We have to wait until the next episode to see if Brody and Kris finally hash it out. What else does Greece have in story for the Kardashian clan? Catch next Sunday’s episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians on E! at 9/8c.
