Kate Middleton Gives Birth to Boy: Look Back at Her Maternity Style
The Royal Baby is here!
Kate Middleton gave birth to an 8-pound, 6-ounce baby boy on Monday after 14 hours of labor in the Lindo Wing at St. Mary’s Hospital with her husband, Prince William, who was born in the same place in 1982, by her side.
“We could not be happier,” the new father said in a statement.
And with the birth, comes the end to some of the cutest maternity outfits ever. If there was a best dressed mother-to-be award, The Duchess of Cambridge would win!
Kate didn’t let her pregnancy get in the way of her high-profile fashion style. Throughout her pregnancy the 31-year-old sported all sorts of coats, dresses, and jackets (and of course hats!) which complimented her beautifully – oftentimes you couldn’t even tell she was pregnant!
From her various top designer coats, to simple statement dresses from Zara and Topshop, Kate always managed to look radiant.
What will Kate wear now that she has given birth? Her former stylist Nikki Pennie shared with E! News that she predicts it will be “something comfortable, low-key, conservative, and appropriate. I’m pretty sure it will be a dress and maybe a jacket. She loves wrap dresses, empire waists, and V-necks dresses.”
