Well, lucky fans at Seattle’s Safeco Field on Friday night got a taste of it when the surviving members of grunge-rock founders Nirvana, jammed with Beatles legend Paul McCartney on a number of his songs.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the Fab Four member told the crowd that he was in the middle of a “Nirvana reunion.”

This is not the first time that Sir Paul has paired up with the band. The two performed at both the Sandy Relief Concert last December and on Saturday Night Live that same month.  McCartney and Nirvana also collaborated on the song “Cut Me Some Slack,” which debuted at the benefit show.

After a July 23 show in Quebec, Paul returns to the U.S for a date in San Francisco at the Outside Lands Festival on August 9.
