Jay-Z, Justin Timberlake Honor Trayvon Martin at NYC Concert


During Jay-Z and Justin Timberlake‘s Legends of the Summer concert in New York City’s Yankee Stadium on Friday night, the “Suit & Tie” duo saved the best song for last.

They closed the first of their sold-out shows with a tribute to Trayvon Martin, dedicating “Forever Young” to the 17-year-old victim who was murdered last year.

“Everybody put a cell phone and light it up,” Jay-Z said to audience. “Let’s light the sky for Trayvon Martin tonight in here.”

His wife, Beyonce, also recently paid tribute to Trayvon with a moment of silence for the late teen at her Nashville show, shortly after the “not guilty” verdict was announced.
