Jennifer Lopez Turns 44: What’s Her Secret to Looking Youthful?

Despite the fact that the star is known for her radiant skin, she actually uses minimal products and gets very few facials or treatments. According to a Hollywood Life interview, she also doesn’t use scrubs or peels too often — mostly sticking to the basics and using a lot of moisturizers and cleansers from her dermatologist.
So then how does she have her signature radiant glow? As the experts say, prevention is key. J.Lo is very cautious of sun exposure as she tells Hollywood Life, “the number one beauty tip Scott Barnes [her makeup artist] has taught me is to stay out of the sun. We’ve always worked with bronzers and self-tanners instead. It’s been over 10 years now that Scott has been telling me to stay out of the sun and it has saved my skin.”
Along with her radiant skin, the “Live It Up” singer also has one of the most rockin’ bods in the business. J.Lo is known for her phenomenal singing, but also for her ability to be simultaneously tearing up the dance floor.
Just like some of the biggest names in Hollywood, including Gwyneth Paltrow, she turns to trainer Tracy Anderson when getting ready for a tour. “Her workouts have to give her endurance for the show,” Tracy tells Hollywood Life. “She needs to get her exercise in one hour each day, 30 minutes of cardio and 30 minutes of muscular structure.” Jennifer balances cardio and muscle building, so she can be thin, but still keep her sexy figure.

Jennifer has one of the most stunning and sultry looks in Hollywood. Her make-up artist Scott Barnes shared with Hollywood Life that he has specific techniques used just to play up her flawless face. “I use light to contour, which is the reverse of what most makeup artists do. Using lighter foundations with a lot of luminosity imparts glow to the skin.”
But what’s Jen’s main secret? Sleep! She tells WebMD, “I treasure my time to sleep. It’s just has important as eating or exercise.”
