Avril Lavigne Is a Bearshark Slayer in ‘Rock N Roll’ Video
The world is in jeopardy and Avril Lavigne is gearing up to save the human race from extinction in her new “Rock N Roll” video!
In this comic book-inspired clip directed by Chris Marrs Piliero, the punk princess is strumming her acoustic guitar until a mysterious caller interrupts her jam session.
“Well how much more obvious can I make it? He was a boy … she was a girl … Well if you don’t get it by now, I’m going to have to say goodbye, sir,” Avril says, playfully referring to her 2002 hit song “Sk8er Boi.”
Avril then looks at her phone and the scene quickly transitions into a comic strip, and the Canadian singer-songwriter is standing in the desert wearing a camouflage jacket with a military hard hat.
In addition to cameos from Wonder Years actress Danica McKellar, Slipknot‘s Sid Wilson, and Titanic actor Billy Zane, Avril rocks out in the desert and pulls out her half-guitar, half-saw weapon to slay the ferocious “bearshark.”
You can help Avril save the dwindling human race (ok, not really) by purchasing “Rock N Roll” on iTunes August 27!
