Jay Z’s ‘Made in America’ Movie to Debut at Toronto Film Festival

Jay Z’s second annual Budweiser Made in America music festival took over Philadelphia over the weekend and in case you missed the first festival, have no fear.

Oscar-winning filmmaker Ron Howard was along for the fun last year, filming footage for a documentary which will make it’s debut at the Toronro Film Festival September 7.

Jay Z’s Budweiser Made in America festival made it’s initial debut on Labor Day weekend last year, with about 50,000 fans in attendance at the two-day event which featured performances from Pearl Jam, Drake, Run DMC, Skrillex, D’Angelo and Calvin Harris.

Howard’s documentary, which fans will get a chance to catch on Showtime October 11, is described as a backstage pass to the event, including stories from how some of the performers are “making it in America.”
