Five For Fighting Evokes Human Spirit in ‘Heaven Knows’

Fans learned how to make the most of life by listening to “100 Years,” and that everyone has their own kryptonite in “Superman” … Now, Five For Fighting is releasing a new track with another inspirational message, and has the world premiere!

John Ondrasik — the musician who goes by the stage name Five For Fighting — evokes the human with “Heaven Knows,” as it opens with an uplifting piano solo followed by his traditional, thought-provoking lyrics: “Tell me where the good man go / before I wash away / walk me down the old brick road / so I can die where I met you.”

The singer-songwriter has never sounded so soothing as he serenades with his amazing, one-of-a-kind vocal range that is guaranteed to give you goosebumps!

The track will be on Five For Fighting’s sixth studio album, Bookmarks, which was produced by Gregg Wattenberg and Derek Fuhrmann, who both worked with American Idol Season 11 winner Phillip Phillips. The record will be released on September 17, but in the meantime, you can listen to “Heaven Knows” below.
