Expect a lot of hootin’ and hollerin’ at this year’s 47th Country Music Awards!

The nominees for the 2013 CMAs were announced and it looks like the Country Music Association has some tough competition on its hands.

At last year’s awards ceremony, Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert stole the show — landing BOTH Male and Female “Vocalist of the Year” titles, as well as Blake’s “Entertainer of the Year” title. This year, we’re expecting some heightened competition — specifically between the female artists.

Taylor Swift left the 2012 CMAs with three nominations and no awards, but this year,  the “I Knew You Were Trouble” singer is coming back with a vengeance! Taylor is nominated for SIX awards in different categories, including “Female Vocalist of the Year” and “Entertainer of the Year.” Will Taylor make history at this year’s CMAs and take home all six awards?

But she has some stiff competition. Nashville Star contestant Kacey Musgraves is nominated for six awards as well — which brings up an extremely important question: Which country cutie will come out on top? Best of luck both Taylor and Kacey!

“Country Music’s Biggest Night” — which will be hosted by Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood for the sixth time – will take place on November 6 on ABC.
