And the countdown continues for the 2013 iHeart Radio Music Festival!

Today’s featured artist is Maroon 5, who will be sharing a stage with Justin Timberlake, Katy Perry, Chris Brown, Bruno Mars, and many more in Las Vegas on September 20 and 21!

Since the ’90s, the boys have blessed the music industry with their catchy, chart-topping love songs, so here are 5 reasons why we “heart” Maroon 5:

1. They Use Their Celebrity to Give Back

Maroon 5 is more than just a band on the radio or a song in your iPod. The boys have participated in countless philanthropic activities including Autism Speaks, MusiCares, Rock CAN Roll, and many more! In this clip, Maroon 5 created a video collage of other musicians covering their hit track “Daylight” as part of the Playing For Change project, which builds music schools around the world!

2. Their Songs Are Timeless

No matter where you’re going or what time of day it is, Maroon 5 is always the band you’re looking for on your iPod. There’s no such thing as an old or overplayed M5 track with musical gems, like “Sunday Morning,” “This Love,” and “She Will Be Loved.” You can never get tired of listening to their songs!

3. They Bring the World Together

Music alone brings the world together, but Maroon 5 upped the ante by sharing stories from all over the globe to create more than just a music video for their hit track, “Daylight.” The band created a video collage of people with their testimony to life to inspire and bring the world together. Mission accomplished, boys.

4. They Have A Love Song For Everything!

Can’t put your relationship to words? Don’t worry, there’s a Maroon 5 song for that! Need some inspiration to win someone over? Listen to “Won’t Go Home Without You.” Going through a tough break up? Adam’s right there with you in “Better That We Break.” Hate leaving the one you love? “Daylight” explains it perfectly.

5. Last But Certainly Not Least … This:

Not only can frontman Adam Levine serenade … he’s got the (shirtless) moves like Jagger.
