Man Plays Tears for Fears on Piano After Flood Destroys Colorado Home
The devastating flooding in Colorado has destroyed thousands of homes and taken the lives of six people, with hundreds more still accounted for, reports CNN.
One man who lost his home in the disaster has taken his grief and channeled it into a sobering, yet beautiful moment.
After flooding and a mudslide came rushing through his home, Boulder resident Mark Changaris sat down at his piano and played Tears for Fears‘ “Mad World.
“He loves his home, he’s lived there for almost four years,” his roommate Maren Keeley, who shot the video, tells People magazine. “He loves the piano. We needed something beautiful amidst the destruction and mud, rocks and debris. Watching him play was the first time I actually felt sad and heartbroken by the events.”
