2013 iHeartRadio Music Festival: All the Saturday Night Action
It was hard to top Friday’s iHeartRadio Music Festival, but the second night has an incredible lineup, including Justin Timberlake, Miley Cyrus, Bruno Mars, Maroon 5, and Ke$ha.
You can also stream the entire show live HERE!
The legendary Sir Paul McCartney kicked it all off with the Beatles’ classic “Magical Mystery Tour” before treating fans to a mix of old and new songs.
And if that wasn’t enough, he ended his set with an insane pyro show during “Live and Let Die” that was so strong it actually blew the 71-year-old’s hair around as he rocked out at the piano.
His music may not be the best to fist pump to, but DJ Pauly D was a fan of Sir Paul:
In between Sir Paul and Maroon 5‘s sets, Zedd got up in the EDM box that was home to Tiesto and Benny Benassi on Friday night to keep the vibe going with “Clarity” and his new single, “Are You Going to Stay the Night” featuring Paramore‘s Hayley Williams.
Next up was Maroon 5, who had the crowd singing along to their entire set, which was basically all their greatest hits. If the music wasn’t enough, lead singer Adam Levine strutted around the stage and proved why he can say that he has the moves like Jagger.
Our hearts did not get a break because right after Adam’s hotness was Tim McGraw and all his muscle glory. Seriously, who else can pull of that cowboy hat?
Pop music fans got a double dose when none other than Britney Spears — who just announced her Las Vegas residency at Planet Hollywood — came out to introduce Miley Cyrus. How great did Brit Brit look?
When Miley stepped onstage, she somehow managed to shock us. After all, she was wearing a white fishnet dress … with only pasties covering her breasts. Despite making jaws drop over her look, she did also wow us with her vocals on “Wrecking Ball.”
After Miley, Thirty Seconds to Mars brought the tone back down with their dark cover of Rihanna‘s “Stay.” But they soon kicked it back up with their rock anthems … and Jared Leto even invited fans onstage to dance with them.
It’s always a good time when Bruno Mars is performing and the “Gorilla” singer did not disappoint iHeartRadio fans.
Who else could pull of moves like this with their band?
Rock fans got treated to Phoenix before the show went back into pop-R&B mode with Miguel, who not only wowed the crowd with his incredible pipes, but these moves … their almost as great as Bruno’s, right?
The night got glitter-bombed once Ke$ha started her set, which also included a special guest appearance from legendary rocker Joan Jett on “Bad Reputation.”
Drake maybe didn’t have a rock legend with dancing chickens, but he had quite a light spectacle, pyro … and a Jaden Smith shirt, right?
The one and only Justin Timberlake closed out the show and it was a truly an incredible end to a history-making weekend. Who was your favorite performer from the weekend?
