Rumer Willis Covers Miley Cyrus’ ‘Wrecking Ball’: Watch

In Miley Cyrus‘ much buzzed-about Rolling Stone interview, she revealed that she and Demi Moore bonded during the filming of LOL in Detroit because they were both going through tough times.

“That was dope, because I think we needed each other at that point,” Miley told the mag. “We both needed to get out of L.A.”

And during a concert this week, Demi’s oldest daughter, Rumer, covered the singer’s heartbreaking ballad, “Wrecking Ball,” at a performance at Hollywood’s Sayers Club.

The 25-year-old’s version wasn’t too different from the original, although Rumer’s voice is a bit more bluesy than Miley’s.

Next up for Rumer is an E! series, Songbyrd, which is loosely based on the life of songwriter Dianne Warren, and will also star One Tree Hill‘s Bethany Joy Lenz.
