The Killers Pay Homage to Las Vegas in ‘Shot at the Night’ Video

Las Vegas may be nicknamed “Sin City,” but The Killers are trying to show a beautiful side to their hometown in their new video for “Shot at the Night,” which is the first single off their upcoming greatest hits collection, Direct Hits.

In the video, a young hotel maid (Australian actress Bella Heathcote) is going through the motions of life. She seems sad as she does her job, surrounded by people her age all living it up in Vegas.

Then as she’s driving to work one night, she nearly runs into a handsome pedestrian, played by The Internship‘s Max Minghella. Luckily for her, she bumps into him at the hotel she works at and he and his friends invite her to hang out with them … and before long, she’s watching the sun rise with Max.

Direct Hits, which comes out on November 11, features The Killers’ best singles from their four albums, like “Mr. Brightside,” “Smile Like You Mean It,” “All these Things That I’ve Done,” and “Runaways,” as well as new songs “Shot at the Night” and “Just Another Girl.”
