Demi Lovato Talks ‘Neon Lights’ Tour, Performs Exclusive Set: Watch


Demi Lovato took a break from her role as X Factor judge for an exclusive interview and performance with The Recording Academy on Friday.

The “Heart Attack” singer talked about her latest album, Demi, and explained, “I’m glad that I was able to put songs on [the album] that I really cherished, and loved, and songs that are very serious, and that’s why I wrote about them.”

Demi also dished about her upcoming Neon Lights tour with Fifth Harmony, calling it “fun” and “a big party.” The starlet revealed that Lovatics can expect some intimate moments on tour because she plans to “strip down” her music into piano ballads.

The 21-year-old singer also discussed her passion for music, her performance of Celine Dion‘s hit song, “My Heart Will Go On,” in kindergarten, and Demi even pulled off a piano version of, “Neon Lights,” “Skyscraper,” and “Nightingale.”
